What do I do when I find a fabric that I really love?... Scream a little, Obsess over it a lot and then figure out how many cool things I can make from it... 

I'm very excited to be working with some more eco-friendly fabrics this season, just like this one.

This heathered charcoal grey tri-blend fabric is rich in high/low tones that add a handsome sense of dimension & texture.

The blend of cotton/poly/rayon has an ultra-soft feel and it drapes the body really nicely.

BUT... even better than all that... the polyester yarns are made from a recycling process that is FASCINATING. Recycled plastic bottles are converted into polyester threads that are used to compose this fabric. Who on earth knew that plastic bottles and polyester threads are made from the same base material? In fact, 5 soda bottles can provide threads for an extra large tee shirt.

It's almost as if Samantha from Bewitched twinkled her nose and a soda bottle becomes a shirt! And if you don't know what Bewitched is.... google it.... and just wait until you get a load of Samantha's mother, Endora!

The textile industry challenged itself to reduce their reliance on the use of polyethylene terephthalate (a type of plastic). This fabric is an example of the types innovations being employed in order to rise to that challenge.

The tri-blend polo is finished with a self-fabric collar, 3 button placket and a Blade+Blue logo patch just above the double needle bottom.
