The 311 board short holds closest to Ms. Birdwell's original design — lightly modernized and improved over 60 years of field testing by lifeguards and surfers who depend on their Birdies to last a lifetime of waves. Each pair of our 311 board shorts is hand-cut from our proprietary SurfNyl™️ and sewn by expert craftspeople in Santa Ana, California. With a simple button fly, a tab closure for an adjustable fit, and a timelessly appealing contrast stitch, these will never go out of style. 

• Features: Bandana print SurfNyl™️ fabric with stone-washed chambray waistband. Triple lace tab closure with brass grommets. Flat lace drawcord. Navy buttons on pocket and fly. Signature back pocket with key loop.  60th Anniversary Birdie woven label on waistband.   
• Fit: Medium length. Outseam ranges between 17” – 21” depending on your waist size. Tab closure allows for minor adjustments in fit.
