For these limited edition 311 board shorts, we’ve paired a white SurfNyl™ exterior with a floral-print SurfNyl™ liner, so the colorful pattern shines through when the shorts get wet. A navy blue cotton ripstop waistband and matching pocket flap anchor the design, while an “Aloha” patch adds an additional detail on the left leg.
The 311 board short is a medium-length version of the original Birdwell design — lightly modernized and improved over more than 50 years of field testing. Each pair is hand-cut from our proprietary SurfNyl™️ and sewn by expert craftspeople in Santa Ana, California. With a simple button fly and a tab closure for an adjustable fit, these limited edition shorts bring new energy to a longtime Birdwell staple.
Features: Triple lace closure with nickel-plated grommets. Birdie woven label on center back of waistband. Signature Birdwell wax pocket with key loop and interior drain hole. Nylon drawcord. Button fly with clear buttons. Aloha patch on left leg.
Fit: Medium length. Outseams range between 17” – 21” depending on your waist size. Tab closure allows for minor adjustments in fit.
Fabric: SurfNyl™️ exterior and lining for strength, comfort, and durability. Waistband and pocket flat are 100% cotton ripstop.
Construction: Hand cut and sewn in Santa Ana, California.
Care: Machine wash cold. No Bleach. Hang dry only.
