The 807 Board Shorts bring together the popular SurfStretch™️ fabric of our 808s and the timeless fit of our classic 310s. Based on Ms. Birdwell’s original design and informed by more than 50 years of field testing by lifeguards and surfers, these modernized shorts are built from a single layer of versatile, durable SurfStretch™️ by expert craftspeople in Santa Ana, California. These are designed to give you even more freedom to enjoy your time in the sun, wherever it takes you. 

For these limited-edition Birdies, we’ve started with a beautiful new color we’re calling Atlantic Blue and added a contrasting navy waistband with a tonal label and a matching pocket flap detail. There’s also our signature “Aloha” patch on the left leg, adding some playfulness to these rich, tonal board shorts. 

Features: Triple lace closure with nickel-plated grommets. Birdie woven label on center back of waistband. Signature Birdwell wax pocket with key loop and interior drain hole. Nylon drawcord. Button fly with clear buttons. “Aloha” patch on left leg. 

Fit: Short length. Outseams range between 14” – 18” depending on your waist size. Sits slightly lower on the waist than SurfNyl™️ boardshorts. Stretch fabric means there will be some give in the waist. Tab closure allows for minor adjustments in fit. 

Fabric: Single layer of Birdwell SurfStretch™️ – Woven Microfiber Polyester with Spandex. Contrasting waistband and pocket flap. 

Construction: Fail safe clean finished double- and triple-stitched seams. Hand-cut and sewn in Santa Ana, CA. 

Care: Machine wash cold. No Bleach. HANG DRY ONLY.
