There’s nothing like a pair of classic Birdies, but sometimes conditions call for a little more flexibility. We’re stoked to finally offer a version of our iconic 310 Board Shorts in our lightest and most flexible fabric. In a variety of new colors, they’re still rugged, durable, and built to last — but they stretch in four directions, making them a perfect choice for action-packed excursions on and off the board.

The 807 Board Shorts bring together the popular SurfStretch™️ fabric of our 808s and the timeless fit of our classic 310s. Based on Ms. Birdwell’s original design and informed by more than 50 years of field testing by lifeguards and surfers, these modernized shorts are built from a single layer of versatile, durable SurfStretch™️ by expert craftspeople in Santa Ana, California. With innovative inseamless construction to eliminate friction, these are designed to give you even more freedom to enjoy your time in the sun, wherever it takes you.

• Features: High mobility inseamless design. Triple lace closure with nickel plated grommets. Birdie woven label on center back of waistband. Signature Birdwell wax pocket with key loop and interior drain hole. Nylon drawcord. Button fly with clear buttons.
• Fit: Short length. Outseams range between 14” – 18” depending on your waist size. Sits slightly lower on the waist than SurfNyl™️ boardshorts. Stretch fabric means there will be some give in the waist. Tab closure allows for minor adjustments in fit. For odd waist sizes, select one size down.  For even sizes, select your usual size.
• Fabric: Single layer of Birdwell SurfStretch™️ – Woven Microfiber Polyester with Spandex.
• Construction: Fail safe clean finished double- and triple-stitched seams. Hand cut and sewn in Santa Ana, CA.
• Care: Machine wash cold. No Bleach. HANG DRY ONLY.
