Offered for sale is this lovely antique white lawn cotton Edwardian slip with button-up crotch.

The airy and breathable lawn cotton material feels heavenly against the skin and is perfect for warmer weather - it is somewhat translucent.

The design of this Edwardian slip features narrow shoulder straps and a loose fitting silhouette that is trimmed with delicate lace edging.  Other features include cutwork embroidery on the bodice and a crotch that does up with three mother-of-pearl buttons.  The top edge has violet ribbon going through it that can be used to adjust the fit. 

This Edwardian slip is meant to fit loosely and would fit a range of medium sizes.  It measures 38” around the top and has a length of 35”, measured flat from the top of the shoulder straps to the bottom.  It is in very good condition - I noticed a couple of small darns in the crotch (see last close-up photo), quite minor. It would benefit from a proper pressing.
