When designing the April Dress, I was thinking of the very first moment of spring, the day the air smells a little different and hints of green appear amidst the brown, the day you're itching to celebrate the coming of spring by wearing a sundress and no tights and it's almost justifiably warm enough to do so. With a full gathered skirt, ruched waistband, and delightfully exposed back, the April Dress is the perfect dress to bust out on that spring day that's merely questionably warm enough. It's also the perfect dress for garden parties and all manner of summer affairs.

• Shell: 77% cotton / 23% ramie fabric woven in Japan

Fabric

This dress is made of a blend of cotton and ramie that is woven in Japan. Being a blend, the fabric has the soft drape of cotton with a hint of the starchy hand and structure of ramie linen. Lightweight with only a hint of transparency, the fabric has has deep green and white pinstripes throughout.

The dress is lined with GOTS-certified organic cotton voile milled in India. Lightweight and airy, the lining creates a soft, breathable layer against your skin.
