"Real elegance whispers, it does not shout." - Some Neapolitan tailor that probably didn't graduate high school but knows more about the way things really are than Ram Dass

"I discovered Capri by Capri back in 2013 - on my very first trip to Naples for my previous job. Owned by Chiara Trifari and her mother, it's a tiny but wonderfully idiosyncratic eyewear shop hidden in plain sight on a cobblestone side street in the Chiaia - the city's tailor shop neighborhood.  

Chiara sold me these matte black and sand tortoise frames from their similarly tight but exceptional in-house collection on that visit and while I've left a lot behind from that period of my life, I haven't been without a pair of these since.  

Shortly after my first trip, I asked the Trifaris if they would ever consider adding a matte black pair to the collection.  

'Maybe.'  

8 years later, they're finally here.  Worth the wait and just for us (It should also be noted that this is the first time their collection will be available outside the bay of Naples).  

We added matte racing green ones too, in honor of that old Italian tailor quoted above.  Oddly, he always seems to have some tastefully wild hued eyeglasses in his breast pocket." - The Management
