This is quality pre-owned Charvet tie made in a woven silk check pattern in tones of grey from light to dark.  Charvet is a venerable shirtmaker located in the Place Vendome, Paris - it was founded in 1838 and is considered to be the first shirt shop in the world.  This Charvet tie measures 60” in length and 3 5/8” in width at its widest.  The tie loop reads “Charvet Place Vendome Silk”  and there is an additional label at the small end that reads “Made in France” and “Charvet Paris”.  The silk is of superior quality, very soft with lustrous sheen.  This Charvet tie is in excellent condition with no noted issues - looks like it saw little use.
