This is quality pre-owned Charvet tie made in a woven silk pattern featuring diagonal orange and black striping.  Charvet is a venerable shirtmaker located in the Place Vendome, Paris - it was founded in 1838 and is considered to be the first shirt shop in the world.  This Charvet tie measures 59” in length and 3 3/4” in width at its widest.  The tie loop reads “Charvet Place Vendome Silk”  and there is an additional label at the small end that reads “Made in France” and “Charvet Paris”.  The silk is of superior quality, very soft with lustrous sheen.  This Charvet tie is in very good condition with only about three single silk pulls (see last two close-up photos) - otherwise clean and ready to use.
