946 wins.  10 regular season conference championships.  5 Final Fours.  1 National Title.  Coach Jim Boeheim enters his 44th season at the helm of the Syracuse men's basketball program as one of the most accomplished coaches in the history of college basketball.

Originally taking over the Orange program in 1976, Coach Boeheim is 946-385 and has never had a losing season.  He has coached college basketball legends such as Pearl Washington, Derrick Coleman and Carmelo Anthony.  

He is also the innovator and master tactician of the Syracuse matchup 2-3 zone.  A difficult defense to prepare for and play against.  One that has given opponents fits for decades and a big reason for Coach Boeheim's success.  He simply teaches it better and his players run it better than anyone else in the history of college basketball.
