As the successor to the M-51 and M-43 that came before it, the M-65 Field Jacket remained military standard issue from 1965 up until last year—making it almost as long-lasting as our board shorts. This year we’re honoring its service with an updated version of our own that we believe will endure just as long. Cut and sewn in Santa Ana from our water-resistant SurfNyl™, the Field Coat carries over classic details like the original’s two oversized breast pockets, two large hip pockets, and waist-cinch drawstring. We’ve also added our own signature details like a leisurely spread collar and an interior pocket big enough to protect your phone, wallet, and other valuables from the elements. Rugged, handsome and utilitarian, the Field Jacket is linen-lined to breathe easy, layer well, and stay in service for all seasons.
