Presenting the one and only USMC Danner RAT Boot. These boots were designed to be worn by US Marine Corps members while serving in the mountainous desert climates of Afghanistan. Featuring Gore-Tex technology, they are waterproof, slip-resistant, and ultra-durable. They also feature a rock-gripping Vibram 360 sole.

After finding out Marines' combat boots weren't holding up in the hot weather and rugged Middle Eastern mountain terrain, Danner designed the RAT (Rugged All-Terrain) boot to get the job done. They feature a waterproof nubuck leather upper with rugged and lightweight 1000 Denier nylon and cushioned ventilating insoles. These soft-toe boots are designed to be worn in climates with average monthly temperatures above plus 68 °F (plus 20 °C). To top it all off, they readily accommodate mountain terrain with Vibram 360 soles that offer omnidirectional traction.
