Ancient Mayan growing techniques and volcanic mountain soil make this coffee something unique. Here you get a cup with a good body and herbal notes mixes with a taste of dark chokolate, prune and red fruits. The cooperative Chajulensehas produced coffee since 1988. It started out with 40 coffee farmers, and consist of more than 1,500 members today. The primary objective of the coop is to promote a sustainable model that is environmentally sound, economically feasible, fair from a social point of view and appropriate from a cultural standpoint.
