This coffee has a very pleasant and satisfying aroma, and a full body that comes from the dark-medium roast. Still, the coffee has a citric and bright acidity that is well-balanced with crisp nuances of forest fruits, plums and apples, and subtle hints of sweet chocolate. Grown in the Kenyan highlands north of Nairobi, this coffee has been subject to direct sun and volcanic soil, which play a crucial role in achieving that typical and well-known Kenyan coffee taste. The coffee comes from two co-operative societies with an average farm size af 1-2 acres, and differs from our other coffees by being peaberry coffee beans. Peaberry coffee beans are different in that the coffee cherry only grows a single seed, unlike 95% of the world's coffee cherries that grown two seeds.
