Birdwell Competition Jackets have been a status symbol in the California surf scene as far back as the 1960s. As one of the first products we made—just after our board shorts—wearing one with a matching pair of Birdies marked a surfer as a member of a team or club. That often resulted in nods of respect or feelings of envy at the local break or boardwalk.

Featuring a classic SurfNyl™️exterior, this jacket continues the tradition of great jackets made from the same materials as our board shorts. With an easy-pairing color, patch to mark the collaboration, and the fun, oversized Birdie print, it’s sure to turn heads.
