This garment was inspired by a conversation Ayten and I shared about the most egregious design claims we'd ever heard. And we've heard many, over the years, from someone who reckoned to have invented the Kestos bralette, to folks who think frills are their unique innovation :)
Having both had our own fits of design-pique, I think we can all agree that when you work largely on your own in a highly competitive industry, it can be very easy to forget that most design choices are due to practical limitations!

Anyway, if you haven't run across Ayten Gasson before, she's usually a beautiful soul who cares passionately about silk and ethical manufacturing and makes delicious piles of the softest underwear in rainbow shades; I just bring out her wicked side ;)
