Come explore the Canadian backcountry with Rivers & Glen June 11 through 17 of 2023. If a rustic experience removed from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day grind is what you are looking for, then this is the trip for you. Once you arrive in camp, you are surrounded by genuine, untouched wilderness and lakes that are fished only a few times during the year. The target species is large northern pike, but opportunities for trophy lake trout and walleye will fill the day with steady action. Breakfast and dinner along with a shore lunch will be provided each day. The host along with the owner and staff of the lodge will steer you in the right directions, but day to day fishing is DIY—from operating the tiller boats to catching and releasing. So please understand, this is not the trip for a new or novice angler. If a rugged wilderness experience is what you are seeking then this is the trip for you. Flights to Thompson Manitoba Airport are available through any major airport, and a private airline will be provided to get you from Thompson Manitoba to the cabin.
