Ravi served with the Glendale Police Department (Arizona) and the McPherson County Sheriff's Office (Kansas) till 2018 when he was retired to his partner. Ravi began experiencing issues with his hind legs in June 2022, fortunately DM was ruled out in early September 2022 however the cause of these issues is still unknown. Ravi receives weekly acupuncture treatment, is on a special diet, and receives weekly injections for arthritis. There's more tests in Ravi's future to hopefully determine what is causing his issues. Funds generated from this fundraiser will assist Protecting K-9 Heroes with ensuring Ravi's medical needs are met without putting the financial strain on his partner.
