The Seton Hall Pirates have been playing basketball since 1903.  Players such as Bob Davies, Walter Dukes, Nick Werkmen, Dan Callandrillo, Terry Dehere, Andre Barrett, Isaiah Whitehead and coaches like PJ Carlesimo contributed significantly to the history of Pirates basketball.  Seton Hall has made 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, 4 Sweet 16s, 2 Elite Eights, and played in the 1989 National Championship Game.
