This is the next step for our Precision Hunter Course graduates who want to advance their shooting and hunting skills or prepare for a specific upcoming hunting trip.

The shooting instruction in this course will cover aspects of hunting which include observation, tracking, concealment and movement skills, planning the hunt, and advanced ballistics and shooting techniques. You will spend quality time on our incredible shooting ranges learning how to engage targets in low light, moving targets, steep angles, and extend your maximum shooting distance all while becoming proficient in reading your environment. You will be faced with challenging shoot/don’t shoot scenarios, ingraining into you the ability to make the critical and quick decision between making a successful ethical shot and making a mistake. Shooters may bring their own personal rifles and optics system, or rent a rifle and purchase ammunition at the ranch.

Branded Rock Canyon is a 15,000 acre private ranch retreat hidden away in the rugged western Colorado landscape, where rolling mountaintops and vast meadows meet the clear blue sky. Western-style five-star hospitality, superb meals paired with exquisite wines and spirits, a selectively stocked Pro Shop, and an on-site international hunting concierge service are a few of the provisions available to our discerning guests. 

Dining:

The on-site chef prepares a magnificent selection of delicious traditional Western specialties and international dishes. Carefully selected wines complement his mouth-watering menus.

Firearms: 

You can rent a firearm for $300 or you are permitted to bring your own firearm if you choose. Please make us aware if you plan to bring a firearm.

Air Travel:

Fly into Grand Junction Airport. If you would prefer to fly to Denver and drive to the lodge the trip is approximately 4hrs.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event that travel is prevented due to COVID-19, guests shall be eligible for a full refund or rescheduled hunt date. Otherwise, cancellations must be made within 24 hours of purchasing (reserving) your Expedition as space extremely is limited.
