This is a vintage 1950s day dress made of a black fabric that is silk screen printed overall with an abstract pattern in off-white - the pattern consists of specks and larger leaf-like shapes. The shoulders have small pads in them and the dress has a high neckline with dolman cut below the elbow length sleeves. This 1950s day dress is cut to fit the body silhouette with accented waist and full circle cut skirt. The dress does up the back with a metal zipper - there are loops for a belt, but no belt is present.. There is a pocket built into either side below the waist. The dress is unlined. This 1950s day dress is posed with a crinoline slip underneath the skirt, but the crinoline is not supplied - a crinoline will support a fuller look, but the dress could be worn without one.
