This is a very nice quality vintage 1950s red wool cape that was made in England.  The wool is of a heavier weight and is fully lined in red satin fabric, definitely appropriate for colder weather.  This 1950s red wool cape does up with two hooks and eyes at the upper front , however the lower eye is missing.  The cape has no openings for the arms.  It has a panel at the neck that can be worn across the neck and over the shoulder, very stylish.  The cape is cut to gradually flare out to the hemline.

Sizing: There is no size label and although this 1950s red wool cape should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  16” across, estimated

Length:  45” down the centre seam at the back

Bust:  54”-56” around, must accommodate the arms

Hemline:  112” around

Condition:  Aside from the missing eye, this cape is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, soiling, staining or odour - the label, however, is semi detached.
