This is a 1960s mod mini dress featuring a blue ribbed knit bodice and woven fabric argyle plaid skirt, neckline edge and short sleeves. This 1960s mod mini dress has a V neckline and three decorative buttons down the front of the bodice.  It has a band waist and the skirt of the dress flares out, like an A line that falls in drapes.  The dress does up the back with a nylon zipper and is half lined over the bodice only.

Label: Beau Time Melodie Frocks Co.  Montreal.  Beau Time was registered as a brand name in 1952, renewed in 1967 and retired in 1982 due to failure to renew the registration

Color: Blue, yellow, red and green

Material: The bodice is synthetic knit, probably polyester - the argyle may be either cotton or acrylic

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1960s mod mini dress, but according to my measurements, this should fit a medium size - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  15” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Bust:  35” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  32” around

Hips:  35”-36” around

Overall length:  34", measured flat

Condition:  This 1960s mod mini dress is in very good, clean condition with no wear, tear, holes or stains -  this dress has been very well cared for and stored over the years.  

This is a super cute 1960s mod mini dress - colourful argyle plaid, sure to be noticed!
