This is a vintage men’s tuxedo tails / formal tailcoat.  The tails are made in classic form with padded shoulders, no closure, cut away front with six buttons, two buttons at the back and three buttons at either cuff.  It has black satin peaked lapels.  It is fully lined in black viscose and the exterior fabric is a good quality lightweight black mohair and wool blend.  Note that there are no pants or cummerbund included, only the tuxedo tails.

Sizing: There is no size label on this tuxedo tails as this is custom tailored, and although this should fit a medium size (US 38) with short arms, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric into consideration):

Shoulders: 17 1/2” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 23 1/2” from shoulder seam - there is an extra 2 1/4” of material inside the cuff hem

Sleeve Inseam: 15 1/2” long

Chest: 40” around, taken under the arms with a normal gap

Waist: 38” around, with a normal gap

Overall length: 42“ at the back, measured flat

Condition: These tuxedo tails are in very good condition with no wear, tear or staining - they look like they saw very little use and were well stored over the years.  

These are nice tuxedo tails  - great if they fit!
