This is a wonderful 70s era Courreges shell top that is knit in a 65% cotton/35% acrylic blended fabric.  It is sleeveless, has a rounded neckline and a decorative bow tie at the centre front.  The front upper centre is perforated in the form of the Courreges logo and also has three vertical rows of perforations as well as one across the chest area. The openings are all ribbed. 

Age: 1970s

Label:  Courreges Paris Made in France.  Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s, and his innovative, “fresh” looking designs through the 70s.

Material: 65% Cotton / 35% Acrylic knit, so has a bit of stretch to it 

Sizing: Size 0 is indicated, which is the Courreges size code for a US size 4/6 - please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):

Bust:  29” around, unstretched, stretches out to 37” max, comfortable fit would probably be 33”-34”

Bottom:  25” around, unstretched, and 34” fully stretched

Length:  20” long, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours - this sweater looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years.

This is a wonderful top - subtle Courreges logo perforation!
