This is a vintage 1970s mens plaid suit.  The jacket to this 1970s mens plaid suit is made with wide notched lapels and a three button closure and is cut to be fitted. The shoulders are slightly padded and there is a flapped pocket built into either side as well as a chest pocket.   The sleeves have two button cuffs.  The back has a 12 1/2” long centre vent.  The pants are unpleated (flat front) and have a leg that tapers slightly and then flares to the bottom.  The jacket is half lined.

Fabric: unmarked, but probably polyester or a poly blend
Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this 1970s mens plaid suit should fit a medium size, probably a fitted size 38, please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Jacket:
Shoulders: 17 1/2” across shoulder seam-to-seam
Sleeves: 26” from shoulder seam
Sleeve Inseam: 20”
Chest: 41” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 37”
Overall length: 31“
Pants:
Waist: 35” around
Leg Inseam: 32” long - 4 3/8” extra fabric inside of the cuff
Overall length: 42”
Cuff:  24” around
Condition:  This 1970s mens plaid suit is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, soiling or odour.  These polyester suits are practically indestructible and this one was well cared for over the years.
