This is a vintage 1970s shirt featuring a woven pattern consisting of blue and white checked motifs. It has a long pointy collar, a left chest pocket, and closes with seven buttons down the front. .
Fabric label: 65% polyester 35% combed cotton CA00047 - that Canadian textile identification number belongs to Modern Shirt of Montreal.
Label: Vicenté from now on….European Fashions Autoset ® Permanent Press Made in Canada.
Sizing: The size label is torn off, but I have an identical one in brown from the same gentleman that reads Size 17 1/2 5, and although this vintage 1970s shirt should fit an extra large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:.
Neck: 17 1/2”
Shoulders: 20” across from seam to seam
Sleeves: 25 1/2” long from the shoulder seam and 35” from mid-neck to the cuff
Sleeve inseam: 23”
Chest: 51” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 49” around
Length: 31 1/2”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam
Condition: This vintage 1970s shirt is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour - this looks to have seen little use.
