This is a lovely silk scarf dating to the 1950s or 60s. The label reads “Soieries et Tissus de Lyon” - Lyon was an important centre of fabric manufacture in France, particularly silk fabric. This silk scarf features a wonderful rose flower design, almost impressionist in style, and printed in tones of yellow and green with black accents. The scarf measures 29 1/2” by 30 1/2”. The edge is hand rolled. It is in very good condition with no noted wear, tear, soiling or odour. This is a very lovely silk scarf - gorgeous print!
