This is a wonderful vintage men’s smoking jacket or short lounging robe featuring an ornate pattern in black and bluish grey on a gold toned satin acetate. It dates to the 1960s - the label reads “Styled by Majestic Made in Canada”. The smoking jacket has a black satin shawl collar, and turned cuffs - the sash belt is also in black satin. It has a chest pocket and pocket at either side, also trimmed in black satin. The original owner added a button and buttonhole in order to secure the smoking jacket closed even though there is a belt.
Sizing: Size XL is indicated on the label - please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 21” across seam-to-seam
Sleeves: 24” long from shoulder seam
Sleeve Inseam: 16 1/2” long
Chest: 52” around, approximate, depending on overlap
Waist: 52”, meant to be cinched with belt
Overall length: 36"
Condition: It is in clean condition with no wear, tear or odour - the smoking jacket is ready to use.
