This is a wonderful vintage Aquascutum trench coat made in England.  This vintage Aquascutum trench coat is made of 100% cotton and has a checked lining.  It has all of the details seen on a quality vintage Aquascutum trench coat - military style collar and lapels, removable neck bridge, drip flap on the left chest area, button down epaulets on the shoulders, straps on the cuffs of the sleeves that are adjustable with leather covered buckles, matching belt with metal rings and leather buckle, drip flap across the upper back and a kick pleat at the back.  The collar can be worn up to protect the neck and the left lapel can be buttoned to the right in order to cover the neckline.  It is cut with raglan sleeves and the eight buttons at the front are arranged in a double breasted style.  It has a pocket at either side as well as a slit to allow access to one’s jacket.

Age: due to being 100% cotton, probably 1970s

Condition:  This vintage Aquascutum trench coat is in excellent condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour - the button that would attach to the tab to close the kick vent is missing, but this is easy to replace.  Otherwise, this vintage Aquascutum trench coat t was well cared for over the years and looks to have seen very little use.
