This is an authentic DKNY silk scarf made by Donna Karan. Donna Karan founded her label in 1985 after acting as acting as head designer for Anne Klein. She established the DKNY label in 1988. This silk scarf features a Western themed design that is called “Go East”, a play on “Go West”. This silk scarf features a rodeo cowgirl on a bucking bronco in its centre, twirling a lasso that spells the letter DKNY. There are 10 gallon hats, teepees, cattle skulls, cacti, cowboy boots and spurs, a guitar and other Western motifs as well as skyscrapers in each corner. The edges have text that read “Wild, Wild East” and “Cowgirl Roundup”. Circa 1992 is printed below the cowgirl. It has a hand rolled edge.
