This is a wonderful 1960s vintage faux fur coat made in a Russian inspired style - vintage faux fur coats like these were popular during the mid-60s due to the release of the Doctor Zhivago movie. This vintage faux fur coat has a Borg Orlon acrylic black “fur pile” exterior meant to replicate seal fur that is trimmed with longer pile grey faux fur along the edge of the hood, the cuffs and around the bottom of the coat. It closes with three frog closures, has diagonal side pockets and is made in an ankle length. There is a decorative belt across the back.
