This is a vintage faux fur coat made in Finland by Finnpile Oy.  This faux fur coat features a red and black rose flower print against a jam purple background colour.  The fabric is made of “modacrylic”.  The coat has padded shoulders, a large shawl collar that can be worn up or down (see photos), sleeves with cuffs that can be turned or not, and it closes with fur type clip hooks as well as a loop and button for the collar.  It has a diagonal slash pocket built into either side.  The coat is lined in black viscose satin.  This faux fur coat is very large, so had to be pinned back on my mannequin for the photos, but note that it is made in an 80s era oversized style.

Label: Finnpile OY Made in Finland.  The CA identification number belongs to Scania Imports of Montreal, a Canadian importer of Scandinavian goods. 

Sizing: No size is indicated on this faux fur coat, and although this should fit a tall extra large or even an XXL, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of fabric and the style of the garment into account:

Shoulders:  21” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves:  26” long with cuffs unturned and 23” with turned cuffs

Sleeve Inseam:  17 1/2”

Bust: 62” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 62” around

Hips:  68” around

Overall length: 50"

Condition:  This faux fur coat is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour.  The coat looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.

This is a wonderful vintage faux fur coat - great colour and floral print and the coat is of very nice quality.......sure to be noticed!
