This is a vintage Lacoste polo shirt featuring an unusual button-up high neck collar.  This vintage Lacoste polo shirt was made in France and came from the estate of an Air France pilot, who was definitely a fan of Lacoste as there were tons of Lacoste shirts in the estate.  Most of the clothing in the estate dated to the 1970s and 80s, and although I couldn’t find a similar example like this one, my guess would be that it dates to the 1970s, but I don’t know for sure.  It does up with three pairs of mother-of-pearl shell buttons.  It has the crocodile logo affixed to the left chest.

Material:  100% Cotton

Sizing: Size 42 is indicated, and although this vintage Lacoste polo shirt should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Neck:  15”-15 1/2”

Shoulders:  18” across from seam to seam

Sleeves: 21” long from the shoulder seam

Sleeve inseam:  19”

Chest: 38” around, taken under the arms - 19” pit to pit

Waist:  32”

Length: 26”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam to the bottom edge

Condition: This vintage Lacoste polo shirt is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, soiling or odour.

This is a wonderful vintage Lacoste polo shirt - not your usual polo shirt!
