This is a gorgeous 1940s novelty print dress, the colors are so vibrant! It's an abstract ballerina print in bright pink, black, white, blue, and purple. The style is a classic 1940s with capped sleeves and shoulder pads, an underbust gathered flattering V-neck, fitted waist, long A-line skirt, with side metal zipper and matching original fabric sash belt. Label is "Diminutives designed by Martini", it's in good condition for it's age, minor collar yellowing, faint spot on bust and skirt, center waist seam in front has been let out, and stress all the way around waist seam possibly from just hanging, can be seen in the close up of the fabric. (You can see the other ballerina printed dress in the vintage ad.) Fabric feels like rayon. The Bust measures 36 inches, 30 inch Waist, 38 inch Hips, 44 inch Length. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do not have stretch, so please take that into consideration when looking at size.
