With a raw sand dune exterior and a matter white interior, the hand built nature of the piece lends to the organic elemental feel.

Each piece is sturdy but should be treated with care. This vessel is glazed on the interior and can hold water safely, due to the semi porous nature of the stone wear some sweating or condensation can sometimes occur at the bottom of the vessel.

This vessel measures approximately 10" tall and 11.5" at its widest circumference.

Each piece is hand built, allowing the shape and feel to emerge organically. 

Ariel Clute is a visual artist living in Berkeley, California. After graduating from California College of the Arts in 2008, Ariel taught printmaking at Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, California. Her days are now split between being a mother of three girls and working with ceramics in her home studio in Berkeley, California.
