The Ariel story is made from a combination of 70% linen and 30% silk. This silk linen blend has the body and weight of heavy silk organza, but the subtle slub and textural variation of linen. Its natural form is a finely crinkled texture which looks purposeful and makes it an easy piece to wear. The texture of this fabric can also be exaggerated by twisting when damp for an organic and sculptural look or the fabric can be pressed smooth if desired. Both linen and silk are biodegradable as they are natural fibres. Linen is known as one of the most sustainable fibres and silk as one of the most luxurious. This blend is breathable, strong and insulating.
