For our first August x Roland Lifestyle collaboration we are highlighting the Midwestern rooted music genre "G-House" and its relationship with Roland's iconic drum machine the "TR-909 Rhythm Composer". G-House is a style of house music hailing from the south side of Chicago that found roots in the late 80's when technical equipment was coming into it's prime. This genre leans heavy on the Roland "808" and "909" drum machines. G-House has greatly influenced House music as a whole but also the culture and streetwear stylings of the community it exists within.

This release is an official collaboration between like minded entities; each providing a canvas for creatives to explore the yet unknown.
