After the unimaginable loss of Officer Brian Shields and Sergeant Ken Thurman, the Aurora Police Department’s Honor Guard represented our department under the most difficult circumstances. APD’s Honor Guard promoted the honor, professionalism, integrity, and pride through its conduct and image at all times, holding the department’s core values to the highest degree.

Officer Shields and Sergeant Thurman will never be forgotten at the Aurora Police Department and Honor Guard members partnered with Grunt Style to design a t-shirt to make sure their memories live on.

At the families’ request, the shirt will only be for “family and friends” of the Aurora Police Department.
