SMILE, IT'S SUMMER

In January 1972, we originally used Smiley and "Take the Time to Smile" to highlight feel-good stories in a host of Europe's leading newspapers. Spreading good news and happiness & positivity was our antidote to bad news and Smiley became a simple reminder that everything will be ok in the end. Today, Smiley powers its message of positive journalism through Smiley News, shining a light on everyday heroes doing exceptional work in their local communities to support charities and non-profit organizations.
