The Blakeney (or the Blake's) are named in memory of a really strong runner in the NYC community. We designed these with her in mind because she made every possible and maximum use of any pockets made available to her in the shorts she wore and this style was her favorite.

The first version of this short comes in a 6.5" inseam with a high rise waist. They can accompany you anyway and for any race length. With eight pockets for all the necessities (2 gel pockets on each hip, a back zippered phone or utility pocket, an inside key pocket, and two large side leg pockets), these shorts will keep everything secure and in easy reach.

Everything about this short's design is intentional. The fabric, the size and placement of each pocket, and the stitches used to secure it all.
