A film project in development, BURDEN OF FREEDOM follows a decorated combat Veteran of the War in Iraq in 2003. A Captain of the 101st Airborne Division, he is awarded the Silver Star for valor, displaying incredible bravery during intense, deadly fighting during The Battle of Najaf, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). This story follows his experiences both in the military and after he has returned to civilian life - only to find that his life has been changed forever by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
