Starting with hand-painted designs that were cut out and reassembled like a patchwork "collage". This jersey was influenced by the Japanese tradition of Boro and Sashiko which is like a Japanese version of the American folk art of quilting, or sewing together old textiles in creative ways to produce new designs.
