OUR STORY BEHIND THIS COLLECTION

Choosing which Disney character to feature on our 2nd collection was hard because there’re so many great Disney classics!
So why Disney’s Bambi for this collection? Many of us in #teamksisters have always been mesmerized by Bambi’s gracefulness and elegance since young, and drawing inspiration from the lush greens and winter setting in the movie, this was the perfect Disney classic for our holiday collection!

We love that the festive period is all about celebrations and spending time with our loved ones, and “Togetherness” was the theme we chose for this collection! We wanted to translate this idea of unity in our designs, and after much brainstorming and feedback from #ksistersfam, we knew we had to include a unisex T-shirt capsule range in this collection so there’s something for everyone! And we couldn’t think of anyone better to model for this range other than our favourite #familygoals team - Melissa, James & baby Noah!

HOW WE DESIGNED THE T-SHIRTS

To much of our team’s surprise, designing t-shirts was not an easy feat! We wanted it to be family and gender-friendly, but at the same time, could be worn individually as well. Just like our previous Disney collection by Ksisters, to ensure that the t-shirts were of quality comfort, we continued working with a premium Korean manufacturer and went through rounds of samples to get the right print and material - not only it has to be soft, but also non-sheer, no creases or shrinkage after washing!

TSHIRT PRINTS/ DETAILS & HOW TO STYLE

We’re fans of Bambi and Thumper’s friendship! Thumper was always there for Bambi throughout his childhood and even taught him so many things in life. Their bond was something Jungmin wanted to continue to share with Yeonsoo & Jooha even though they’re growing up so fast!
To further encapsulate the theme of “Togetherness” in our designs, we added a fun print at the back of each t-shirt design!

The t-shirts are cut from premium soft cotton with neatly finished edges, this piece does not crease easily and features an oversized fit. The options to style this versatile piece is endless! Perfect on its own with jeans for an everyday look like how Jungmin wears it, or layer it on with a knitted cardigan like Melissa for a cool off-duty look.


We love how Noah pairs the oversized t-shirt with beige pants and sneakers for a cute streetstyle look, or dress up the tshirt like Yeonsoo and Jooha with a fun poofy skirt!For petite ladies like Melissa (UK4-6), opt for the Kids size XL t-shirt for a more fitted cropped look!
