Representing Drag entertainers & drag culture worldwide, this new & alternate flag design was established in 2016 (the original Feather Drag Pride flag was created in 1999). The Austin International Drag Foundation (AIDF) organized a worldwide contest with a panel of distinguished judges among the drag community, including Chad Micheals and many more.

This was the winning flag design, which incorporates:

• Purple: represents the passion for the art of drag
• White: represents the blank slate of the body & face before the transformation into the different characters drag artists become in drag
• Blue: represents self-expression & loyalty
• Crown: represents leadership in the community
• Stars: represent the many forms of drag
