Vintage 1930s lace shawl

Made of silk, lace, netting and embroidered linen

Drapes over the shoulder

Triangular panels of silk crepe alternated with 1.5” wide lace pieces

At the end of each lace panel is a square of linen embroidered with a peach, pumpkin orange and green floral motif along with polka dots and embroidered corners 

Neck trimmed in doubled netting

Hem trimmed in a scalloped edge 1” ribbon of lace 

No form of closure

Would be beautiful for a wedding shawl or worn with a strapless dress for a cover up
