The Kangaroo tube with halter strap is made from a soft 4-way stretch 94% cotton / 6% spandex Jersey, for additional comfort for Mom and baby. It is flexible enough that baby can move and seek for the breast. Semi-side seams with elastic shirring prevent baby from slipping sideways and follow the shape of the baby without unnecessary pressure.
The double band at the bottom and the inner support to the buttocks/lower back prevents baby from slipping down. The strap gives an additional support, especially it you wear baby when sitting in a chair.
This is NOT a "hands-free" baby carrier. If you get up, you must have a free hand to ensure additional protection and support. This top must be adjusted, that's why it's a tight fit. If you hesitate between two sizes, we recommend choosing the bigger one.
