This magnificent one-of-a kind hand-woven "Celebration" coat showcases Liz's extraordinary talent for creating a wearable work of art based on the traditional Turkish Folkwear pattern. In lovely shades of taupe, it is fashioned in a series of twills using cotton, rayon, silk, and cotton blend yarns to create depth of texture and tone. It is artfully enhanced by two stunning merino wool and commercial-dyed silk Nuno wet-felted long front panels and a back panel beautifully framed in silver piping and patterned by collaborator Laura Sims in complementary shades of muted grey, brown, green, gold, turquoise, and rust. The coat is styled with an open front, two side pockets, and luxurious chocolate silk lining. Cotton, rayon, silk, and cotton blend with merino wool and silk Nuno felting. Dry clean or hand wash cold, lay flat to dry, and iron with steam.
