The Enlighten Face Mask comes in a 2 oz glass container, with a compostable label, and is a mixture of bentonite clay and turmeric powder. This face mask is great for normal to oily skin. 

Bentonite clay’s adsorbent power may be helpful in treating acne breakouts and oily skin. The clay can help remove oil from the skin’s surface, and it may also have a calming effect on inflamed breakouts. Using a clay face mask can help remove impurities from the skin to treat acne or reduce the risk of pimples and skin infections.

You may want to try a turmeric face mask to help reduce acne and any resulting scars. The anti-inflammatory qualities can target your pores and calm the skin. Turmeric is also known to reduce scarring. 

When empty, reuse your glass container for a variety of things! 

How to Use: Just prior to use, mix a small scoop of the face mask with purified water into a separate bowl until the desired thickness. Make sure to use a non-metal vessel and mixer, as the metal will interact with the clay. Spread evenly onto face avoiding eyes. Rinse with warm water after 10-20 minutes, depending on skin sensitivity. 

Clay masks go onto your face wet and will harden and tighten up as time goes on. Your skin will feel very soft when you rinse the mask off. Finish with your favorite toner and moisturizer. I recommend the Unwind Toner or Awaken Toner!
